(Error help!) - by Dan D.Iran into this engrish error after I built my supersweet new computer. Searching on Google doesn't help at all. Some people are really hampered by this error. For me, it was only an occasional annoyance. I posted to anandtech and a few other forums but didn't find any help there.
Change one little setting in your computer's bios. It's that simple. Hardware?I'm running the following hardware.
I am not over-clocking. I had no other problems with this flarging awesome machine. Because the error is so specific and not OS-dependent, it led me to believe the problem is often specific to the BIOS itself rather than a user's modification thereof. I poked around a few obvious areas in the BIOS but couldn't find anything out of whack. But when on a whim I changed from it's default setting to Halt On No Errors, the problem went away.
